Justin Chambers Speaks Out About 'Grey's Anatomy' Exit

Justin Chambers is opening up about his difficult decision to leave Grey’s Anatomy.

The 49-year-old actor is “very excited” about the next chapter in his life – including “life, family, love and friendship” – after 15 years on the ABC show, he told Page Six.

When asked whether or not he had spent some time at Prive-Swiss in Connecticut to take care of mental health issues, Justin replied, “Maybe. Anyways, Grey’s has been very supportive of me and I’m very grateful and it’s been a great ride.”

“Of course, anywhere that you spend 15 years, it’s a big chunk of your life,” he said about the departure being emotional.

He added that he’s taking things “one day at a time” and wants to produce documentaries in the future.

Justin Chambers‘ final episode of Grey’s Anatomy already aired. See his co-star Ellen Pompeo‘s reaction to his exit if you missed it.
