Over the summer, the 22-year-old rapper admitted that he provided false information on fedeal forms in order to purchase weapons from a gun shop, ABC reports.
One of the guns that Kodak Black purchased was actually found at the scene of a March shooting, but no charges have been filed against him for that.
He is also currently facing drug, weapons and sexual assault charges in other states at this time.
“I have made some decisions I’m not proud of making,” he said in court. “I do take full responsibility for my mishap.”
He could have been sentenced to a maximum of 10 years for the crime after pleading guilty.
