Steven Yeun is getting in the producer seat for the first time!
The 35-year-old The Walking Dead alum will be starring in and executive producing the upcoming immigrant drama Minari, written and directed by Isaac Chung, according to Hollywood Reporter.
The film is inspired by Isaac‘s upbringing as the son of Korean immigrants in rural immigrants. Steven will star as a father who moves his family from Korea to the farmlands of Arkansas in the 1980s to chase the American Dream.
Korean actresses Yeri Han and Youn Yuh-Jung will be making their United States debuts in the film.
Minari will be begin production later this month.
