'Jeremy Kyle Show' Cancelled After Guest's Apparent Suicide

British talk show, The Jeremy Kyle Show, has been cancelled by ITV after one of their guests apparently died by suicide shortly after appearing on the program.

The guest, Steve Dymond, was found dead after taking a polygraph on the show to prove to his fiancee that he was faithful. He did not pass the polygraph test.

“Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show,’” ITVchief executive, Carolyn McCall, said. “[The show] has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end. Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.”

The show had been on the air for 14 years and was similar in style to the Jerry Springer Show.
