Sharon Osbourne is bravely opening up about her battle with depression.
During Tuesday’s (April 3) episode of The Talk, the 66-year-old co-host opened up about her years-long battle with depression and revealed that she attempted to take her life three separate times.
While first trying to make light of the situation, Sharon shared that she wished there was a way to control her negative thoughts.
“I was joking about this but I shouldn’t — talking about my depression,” Sharon shared with her costars. “And it’s like, you know saying, ‘Oh, the first time I tried to kill myself was okay, the second, all right, the third time, oye!’”
This isn’t the first time Sharon has opened up about her struggles with depression. In 2014, Sharon revealed that she’s been taking medication for depression for over 16 years.
“But it’s like, I’m still here. I still do what I do and you struggle,” Sharon continued. “I wish everybody could think flowers and daisies and princesses, but you can’t.”
