Ezra Miller Reportedly Writing Darker 'The Flash' Script

Ezra Miller is reportedly getting hands-on with the script for the upcoming The Flash movie.

The 26-year-old actor, who has played The Flash in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, is teaming up with acclaimed comics author Grant Morrison to pen a script for the film.

According to THR, Ezra and writer-director duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein aren’t agreeing on the direction of the story.

While Ezra is said to want a darker take on the material, the directors, as well as many of Warner Brother’s current superhero films, are taking a light-hearted approach to the material.

Ezra‘s script could determine if he stays on to play crimefighter Barry Allen as his holding deal on Flash reportedly expires May.

Ezra and Grant‘s script could be submitted to the studio as early as next week.
