The 27-year-old reality TV star and former NFL player and the “Liquid Dreams” troupe released their collaboration on Friday (February 22).
The song came about as a result of Colton and band member Jacob Underwood’s friendship. The song was recorded in San Diego to help raise money and awareness for his charity, The Legacy Foundation.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of “Hello World” will be donated to the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization that was created to empower people with cystic fibrosis to live fully, dream big and support each other. The Foundation raises funds for research and provides equipment and resources for people of all ages living with cystic fibrosis.
“Very excited to be releasing ‘Hello World’ and grateful to O-TOWN for partnering up! They are so great to be using this song to help raise funds for the Legacy Foundation and I know it’s going to be big! It’s a fun song to listen to, but most importantly, an anthem for anyone to live your best life. It’s not only for the CF [Cystic Fibrosis] warriors, but for anyone out there dealing with anything in life,” said Colton.
